Nakheel Tower (برج نخيل) is in talks with several potential contractors, including Samsung Engineering and Construction of South Korea (who also built the Burj Dubai), Shimizu Corporation of Japan and Grocon of Australia. The tower will have a height of 1,400 m (4,593 ft), making it the tallest structure in the world when completed.

Named "The Pinnacle" and peaking of the center channel in the main section of the island.
